The Limited are a pack of political pop-punk brats from Sydney, Australia. While usually armed with four chords, they might surprise you with a fifth if you’re nice to them and give them snacks.

Formed in mid-2018 to stave off the respective midlife crises of Luke and Jordan, the band started out as bedroom and weekend warriors playing some good (and not so good) gigs (usually being the only punk band at metal shows) until the release of their ep “A Few Short Songs By Angry People” and their first headlining show at The Great Club in Marrickville.

In 2023, The Limited released their debut album “The Coffin or the Suitcase“, along with a series of accompanying music videos. This was followed up with an as-live acoustic album in 2024 titled “Live From Nowhere“, with proceeds from the Bandcamp sales going to Combatants for Peace. In the following years, The Limited also played several festivals raising funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

In January 2024 The Limited played their first interstate festival “Munk and Petal” in Fortitude Valley, Queensland. The gig itself went great, but they refuse to talk about the drive up to this day.

In July 2024 The Limited played alongside a slew of other bands at “Rock Against the Right”, an anti-fascist festival in Petersham, NSW, with the proceeds going to The Anti-Fascist Defence Fund and The Indigenous Literacy Foundation

In December 2024, The Limited released Marcellus, with proceeds going to The Innocence Project, with a swift follow up release of their second EP “Still Angry“.

Over their time as a band, they have played alongside the likes of Nunchukka Superfly, The Owen Guns, Forklift Assassins, I Hate People, FIST, HELLE, The Grounds, Hot Mess, Shawnee’s Angels, The Leftards, Munted Chunts, Permanent Revolution, and Serial Killer Dinner Party.

TESTIMONIALS:

Punk like how it was invented and meant to be. The Limited are the musical equivalent of being tied to a jet engine, and someone just said: “go!”

-Charlotte Graham/The Music Producer

I’ve been lucky enough to watch this awesome punk four-piece a bunch of times this year. They mix politics and fun and play poppy punk/skate punk in a style that you’d be familiar with if you dig the kinda bands that Fat or Epitaph release. If you see them playing near you, go and enjoy them

-Sean The Bastard/The Owen Guns

A true frontman backed by one of Sydney’s strongest bands, The Limited consistently hit the beam between earworm and all out raucous. A high rotation natural for sure!

– Riot FM

I’ll never book The Limited again
